I have always been involved with showing dogs, and in a
lot of ways was my Mother's main help as a child while
we traveled to dog shows.  My love of Poodles was
something I have had since I can remember, even
though we had Collies (both Rough and Smooth) for
most of my early years.
Kriscross Standard Poodles is a name that is
recognizable to many show breeders now.  We have
bred several AKC Champions, as well as finished many
Champions from other breeders.  The picture at the top
of this page is my first Champion Standard Poodle
"Romeo".  He was shown to his American, Canadian,
and International Championships by me when I was 19
years old.  His official name (including titles) is
American/Canadian/International Champion La
Champagne Lover Boy.   He has now gone to the
Rainbow Bridge (2/24/94 - 1/13/06), and will be missed
very much.
Kriscross Poodles is committed to bringing the finest  
Poodles possible into this world.  Whether they are
going to be Champion show dogs or the family pet, we
want the healthiest Poodles we can have.  Health testing
is not something to be taken lightly, and we are
committed to completing and passing all health testing
prior to breeding.  Conformation and breed type are
equally important to genetic health.  The dog must look
like the breed he represents and be able to perform the
functions he was bred for in a sound manner.
