This is a short story of "Bubba" and how he came into our lives. September, 2007 found us on
a 3 week trip in our motor home (affectionately referred to as "Boundy") in Southern California
and Nevada for dog shows. The second set of shows on our journey was held on the campus
of Cypress College, near Anaheim, CA. During the clean up at the end of the final day of
these shows our friends Lacey & Desi called us over to a building near a dumpster to show us
what they had found. We were blown away by what we saw!

The most emaciated cat any of us had ever seen still alive! He was filthy and loaded with fleas. He
had his first bath in the bathtub of the motor home before we left the show site.
